I was born in Japan. I completed a B.A in Sport Science at Chukyo University and subsequently taught aerobic and jazz dance before I moved to Europe. I trained in mime theatre in Helsinki with Adam Darius '95-'96. Then followed by fulltime training at the London Contemporary Dance School '96-'99.

On completion of fulltime schooling I was invited to join the dance company 'Genau', performing and directing dance pieces in England, Germany and Japan. I am also a qualified pilates instructor.

I currently teach contemporary dance at The Place and Kensingtion & Chelsea College and pilates at the City & Islington College, The Laboratory and Yogahome. Since 2000 I have been invited by Shiho Kanazawa Dance Company to teach and perform in Japan every summer.
